If you need your racket to be re-strung, you can take advantage of Bassline’s new service available at the tennis centre. Bassline will collect and return rackets every Monday and Thursday from reception. You can fill out the stringing cards available with the required tension, string, and any additional grips/overgrips that you might need.

Why Nottingham?
At University of Nottingham Sport our Tennis programme provides frequent team training allowing talented young players to drive their game forwards, whilst studying for a degree at a global top 70 university.
We’re proud to partner with the Nottingham Tennis Centre, located adjacent to our University Park Campus, to offer unrivalled training facilities for our student athletes. The venue, which boasts 34 courts total, hosts multiple major tournaments including a WTA Tour and ATP Challenger Event (Rothesay Open) before Wimbledon.
It is an exciting time to join the University of Nottingham team as they consistently rank highly in BUCS Tennis rankings and continue to make win medals in team and individual competitions.
Nottingham Ball Crew
Nottingham Ball Crew are the official ball crew providers for the Nottingham Open and have provided crew for numerous national and international tennis events.
To be part of the team, crew must go through a series of trials and training sessions to be ready for the big stage. Applications for the Nottingham Open in June open in January with training taking place monthly leading up to the event.
